Travel Counsellor, West Vancouver

Maritime Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant for a hybrid role that serves both corporate and leisure clients. As the face of our organization, you will deliver outstanding customer service, offer expert travel advice, and help clients craft exceptional travel experiences.

We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in both corporate and leisure travel. If you have worked in a variety of travel environments—such as an air wholesaler, corporate travel agency, or leisure-focused travel business—this is a fantastic opportunity to draw on those diverse skill sets.

Responsibilities:

• Using your travel passion and  knowledge to sell products and destinations your clients require or express interest in
• Providing exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via email
• Preparing and processing itineraries with assistance of our automated templates

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the travel industry and corporate experience is required.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs and industry trends.
• Knowledge of Apollo or Sabre booking systems is required.
• A positive attitude, a keen interest in travel and a commitment to lifelong learning.
